About My Business

Kim’s Kritter Sitter is owned and operated by me, Kimberly A. Hinkle. I have been providing professional pet sitting services throughout north central West Virginia for nearly twenty years. This business started when I became frustrated at the lack of pet care resources for my own “pack.” I know pets do better when they are able to stay in their known environment. They are happier in familiar surroundings; they are healthier when they are at home and not exposed to kenneling and associating with other pets who may have health issues; and they are happiest being where they can welcome their family home.

I have been a member of Pet Sitters International since 1999 and am certified in Pet First Aid through the American Red Cross. I, as well as my staff, am insured and bonded. I maintain and have with me at all times a pet first aid kit. I also have an excellent working relationship with all vets in the area.

I love all animals and am especially fond of all dog breeds. My family includes three Pugs, a Basset Hound and a German Shepard Dog. I have also had many Dobermans throughout my life. Caring for animals is my job but it’s also my love. God gave us our animals so we could understand what unconditional love truly is.
