About My Business

Working with animals is my dream job! I have worked with all kinds of dogs and cats, from energetic and playful pets to seniors, rescues and pets with special needs. Every dog and cat has a unique personality, and I enjoy getting to know and caring for each pet as an individual. I am a loving and reliable companion to pets when their parents aren’t available. Contact me if you need a professional dog walker, puppy walker or in-home pet sitter when you are at work, going on vacation, attending a special event or recovering from surgery.

Before starting my dog walking and pet care business in 2019, I volunteered for more than two years walking dogs at the San Diego Humane Society, where I gained hands-on experience with hundreds of dogs. I also volunteered at Helen Woodward Animal Center, walking dogs and socializing puppies, cats and kittens, and became a Red Level dog handler, the highest level on their handling scale. I treat every animal with love and respect as if they were my own.

I have pursued professional education and certifications to build on my skills and experience and to provide a high level of care. I am a Victoria Stilwell Academy Certified Dog Trainer (VSA-CDT), a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP) with PACCC, and a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) with Pet Sitters International. I am also a Fear Free Certified Professional and have completed the Fear Free Shelters Program and Cat and Dog First Aid including CPR.

I have also completed Reactivity for Dog Training & Behavior Professionals through the Victoria Stilwell Academy and an eight-week mentorship through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) focused on impulsivity, reactivity and fear. My education in canine behavior and training helps me recognize body language and early signs of stress and incorporate enrichment, choice, thoughtful management and reinforcement of desirable behaviors into my dog walks and pet care visits.

Making sure pets are safe, happy and healthy is always my priority. I want pet parents to feel completely comfortable entrusting their pets to my care.
