PSI's Call for Speakers 2026

Pet Sitters International (PSI), the world’s leading educational association for professional pet-sitting and dog-walking business owners, has officially opened its Call for Speakers for 2026. The association’s planning team is seeking passionate, engaging thought leaders and experts from industries relevant to professional pet-care business owners for both PSI's in-person Pet Sitter World Educational Conference and its FOCUS Online Summit Series. The submission deadline for speaker proposals is Thursday, October 16, 2025. 

2026 Speaker Opportunities:

  • IN PERSON: PSI's 2026 Pet Sitter World Educational Conference, November 6-8, Albuquerque, NM

  • VIRTUAL: PSI's 2026 FOCUS Online Summit Series, with three (3) one-day online summits taking place in February, May and August

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  October 16, 2025.

Who are we looking for?

PSI's event participants are professional pet-sitting and/or dog-walking business owners at various stages of their pet-care careers and managing businesses of varying sizes. While industry experience and business size vary, our participants all share a strong commitment to professionalism, continuing education and exceptional pet care. They are pet-care providers, but also small-business owners, pet advocates, and influencers in their local markets and beyond.

PSI is commited to providing high-quality educational programming that benefits our attendees, their businesses, and the pets and pet parents they serve. 

To achieve this goal, PSI is seeking diverse, dynamic experts from industries relevant to PSI’s members including, but not limited to:

  • Pet sitting and dog walking
  • Veterinary
  • Pet behavior and training
  • Pet health and wellness
  • Pet food and nutrition
  • Human Resources/Staffing
  • Customer Service
  • Legal and Accounting
  • Marketing and SEO
  • Technology and Automation
  • Media and PR
  • Estate/End-of-Life Planning 
  • Time Management/Organization

Prior, documented speaking experience is preffered, and all selected speakers must be able to provide high-quality slides to accompany their presentation. 

Please note: All sessions should be educational in nature. Authors, consultants, and company representatives are encouraged to submit proposals, but the presentation cannot be a sales pitch for a specific book, DVD, business, or program, etc.

All PSI staff, members, partners, affiliates, speakers and writers are expected to adhere to PSI’s non-discrimination and anti-harassment policies.
