PSI's Pet-Sitter Education Month™

PSI's Pet-Sitter Education Month™ is observed each September. Pet Sitters International (PSI) established the month-long observance in 2016 to shine a spotlight on professional pet sitters’ commitment to continuing education and on the growing number of educational resources available to today’s professional pet sitters and dog walkers.

Monthly Member Toolkit

PSI members gain access to a new toolkit each month which includes:

  • A new free online training each month created specifically for PSI members
  • A featured member resource—often a pet-sitter form template, client handout or other resource
  • A monthly calendar featuring pet holidays you can highlight and a to-do list for your pet-sitting business
  • Custom social-media images for pet-related observances with suggested captions

A subscription to Pet Sitter's World

PSI membership includes a subscription to PSI's member magazine, Pet Sitter's World. Four issues (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep and Oct-Dec) are mailed to PSI members each year. Plus, the issues are also available in digital format at www.petsit.com/magazine. 

PSI's private, members-only Facebook Group

PSI's private member Facebook group, Professional Pet Sitters Chat, offers a private, moderated forum to post questions and share advice with fellow PSI members. The group also utilizes post topics to help group members more easily find specific information they may be looking for.
