About My Business

My name is Skylar and I provide trustworthy, personalized care for all pets needs.

My service areas consist of Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, and nearby surrounding areas in the Chicago area.

I offer self provided services. I do not hire subcontractors. All of your interactions will be with me solely. I appreciate and enjoy building long term relationships with the dogs/cats/critters as well as their owners. I am passionate about the services I provide with people and their pets.

I have studied natural health care for pets and am certified. My course studies consisted of learning how to incorporate essential oils, herbal blends, T Touch, and acupressure into our pets lives to help with mental and physical health issues. I offer natural health consults/advice from my personal learnings and experiences to those seeking alternative/natural healing modalities advice.

I have 20 years of hands on experience caring for and training dogs. I am experienced training reactive and anxious dogs. I use positive reinforcement techniques such as training treats or physical affection and voice rewards such as good dog or a simple YES...I attended Dog Tec Dog walking academy and am a certified professional dog walker. I have a Certificate in Dog- Dog group dynamics presented by Sue Steinberg Marin Humane Society. I attended the Canine Behavior Academy taught by Trish King of the Marin Humane Society. When working with dogs, my decisions are based SOLELY with your dogs best interest at heart.

Some of my services include senior pet care, T Touch, Natural Health Care consulting, acupressure/massage, short walks/potty breaks for dogs, basic training, I incorporate natural remedies to help ease possible stress.

I offer cat visits as well as other small animal care. I have a soft spot for caring for senior pets. I also love the process of watching puppies learn. I love helping people find alternative healing methods for their loved fur family.
