We are committed to providing a "concierge-like" service and understand that every family has different needs. It is our goal to be flexible and accommodate as many "pawticulars" as we can! Our services include, but are not at all limited to: Dog Walks, Drop-In's, Pet/House Sitting, Pet Taxi, Poop Scoop, and the care of senior dogs and/or those in hospice.

Doggie Bone Dog Care exists because we all could use help with our busy schedules and we want to provide the best dog care possible, with the same love and attention you give your dog.

If you and your pet have a specific need please give us a bark and we will do our best to assist!

It's important for you to know that I have always loved and appreciated the wisdom and beauty of animals, but dogs fill my heart and soul. I am grateful for my innate understanding of our canine companions, a kinship, that goes beyond what I think can be taught. Which is not to say that I don’t continue educating myself. I study everything I can to learn about the latest scientific research into canine behavior. My idea of fun is a new book about dogs! I seek to further my understanding of how their brains work, how they see the world, how they learn, communicate, and show emotion. As there is a lot of new research on how dogs age, both cognitively and physically, one of my specialties is caring for senior dogs, which is something that was inspired by my own experiences.

"We have used Doggie Bone Day Care (DBDC) nearly since its beginning almost five years ago. During this period DBDC took exceptional care of Rosie, our beloved Airedale/Shepherd mix. We trusted DBDC with our house keys and alarm code knowing that Rosie and our home too would be well taken care of during our many overseas travels. The real trial happened recently while we were out of the country. DBDC realized that Rosie was not herself and took her to our vet at Westbury Animal Hospital. Sadly, Rosie had HSA, an aggressive cancer, and we were on a ship in the Arctic. Rosie’s condition worsened quickly and she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the arms of a DBDC staff! DCDC even arranged to have Rosie cremated. We could not nave asked for or expected better care! We are now fostering a gentle German Shepherd for Waiting Under the Willow Foundation!"
