About My Business

In the summer of 2000, I started my pet business, "Houston Precious Pet Care". "Houston Precious Pet Care" currently serves Houston's "inner loop" pet owners. I have always loved animals. My first pet was a beautiful cat, named "Precious" and my first dog was Midnight, a beautiful Labrador Retriever, who is pictured on my website (houstonpetsitting.com). Prior to serving a client, I provide a free consultation. During the meeting I meet the pet owner and also get acquainted with pet/s and make sure I am comfortable with them. I serve the following pets: dogs, cats, fish, parrots (and other caged birds) and caged pets (rabbits and hamsters).

On occasion, I will briefly walk a dog for a "test" during the meeting to be sure I am comfortable walking, especially if the dog is medium or large in size.

I bring an Information Form to the meeting which is completed during the meeting. The form will state: The pet/s Veterinarian, if the pet/s take medicine and how to administrator the medicine (if this applies), location of the pet/s food and instructions for feeding and location of dog leash and/or cat litter box.

We provide midday dog walks for busy professionals (who are unable to go home during the weekday to walk their dogs) and vacation or business trip pet care (caring for pets once or twice per day) while you are away from home.
