About My Business

My desire to care for cats professionally comes from years of owning them and taking care of friends' cats. My second sense and instinct about what is going on with the cats in my care is very special for me and them. I am enjoying sharing that care with clients and their pets. I am bonded, insured and will provide you with a packet including a contract and a variety of authorizations. I have two cats of my own, Max and Lucas, who are happy to help with important socialization and just plain fun!

My experience and professionalism carries itself in every aspect of my care for your cat/cats. I make the emotional, physical and mental well-being of your cat my top priority during each and every visit. I am member of Pet Sitters International, insured and bonded.

Mission Statement: to provide peace of mind for cat owners. When pets are left at home, they are well-cared for, which is part of a three part process: 1. to keep your cats stress-free, you can keep them in the environment that they are used to and in a routine that is as close as possible to the one that they are accustomed to. Or I offer an option of boarding them with me if necessary to receive the best loving care I can give them. 2. To go beyond basic care and to give each cat the love, attention and playtime that they need in your absence. 3. To stay in communication with you after each visit with an update. This will help to keep you stress-free while you travel or are away from home for the day.

Here's the process: set up a short meet and greet to see if you and your pet like me. It gives me a chance to meet your pet. If you decide to use my services, I will stop back before you leave to go over my obligations and the cats' routines. You then schedule me for as many visits per day as needed, each visit being a minimum of 30 minutes. I will use the entire 30 minutes for your pets, more time if necessary, allowing them to have the playtime and attention they need. I schedule my visits to keep your pets as close as possible to their normal routine. After each visit you will receive a text message, photo, or call, if you prefer, assuring you that all is well at home and bring up any concerns that I might have for their care.

I treat every pet as if they were my own and for this reason some of my clients use me daily while they are at work. I take special pride in making your cats comfortable with me. Petting and playtime is just as important as feeding and cleaning litter boxes! I know from experience how stressful it can be for cats left at home by their owners. You need someone to care for your pets that you can be confident in and who will care as much as you do about them. I am always there when you need someone to watch "the kids"!
